2007 Vintage:

A difficult year due to rain around harvest however picked ripe at around 23 brix but in a longer growing season than usual picking both late April and early May.

Despite the vintage no green or peppery characters and the wine shows good flavours. Some new oak was used to round
out the wine but this is just starting to integrate now

The Wine:

A more feminine and lighter wine than usual and also it has been
the slowest to mature.

Very much in the red fruits and vanilla cream spectrum on both nose and palate. Medium bodied but with good red fruits flavours. Long though with some toasty oak character on finish.

Just starting to show some greater weight and better integration.

Drink or Hold.
